On 11Th October I supplied my plastic card details to this particular website about the proviso that my account WILL NOT be debited without my permission. Despite their assurance my card was debited AUS $36.98 anyway, broke supplied inturn. I was scammed and this website ought to be investigated asap and monies refunded. War Movie Afghanistan! I'm an easy man. I'm not dirt poor but I'm not what you would call "well off". So when I hear the saying "FREE", my head pops up and I get sucked in. I'm a musician and singer having a deep love and appreciation for music. I'm quite a movie buff and luxuriate in sitting down to some good movie. I'm also a computer geek that likes to play video games, and get acquainted with the newest computer software. However, I don't have the $599.00 US dollars to cover a program like Adobe Photoshop or $60 US dollars to shell out on the new Roxio Easy CD creator and I'd like to start to see the hot new movie releases inside comfort of my own home and not have to shell out about $30 US dollars for my lady and I to go to the local cinema. My lady and I still go to the movies about two times a month. I still purchase a CD occasionally but I can't stand buying a CD if I'm only likely to like 2 songs out from the 12 that are on it. So I download all these things. Now the games I download usually don't stay on my PC for long. After I beat the action in most cases, I delete the file. The music I keep and the software applications I usually keep also. Do I feel somewhat guilty? Not at all. Allow me to explain a lttle bit.

Back in the 1990s (before I owned a pc) like most other people, I was paying $18 US dollars for any music CD. I was paying $20 US dollars for any new release VHS video cassette (that eventually wore out). Myself, I'm a musician, singer, and songwriter. I try to consider it from the artist's perspective. They are NEEDED in film production plus they are STILL producing movies. I mean, who's gonna GRIP THAT KEY'

We've all heard about Napster (a legit company now) and Kazaa but with every program that gets disabled or instructed to go legit, there are numerous new programs released. The technology itself is changing also. Programs like "Limewire" , "Bear Share" and "Shareaza" would be the current and a lot popular "Peer To Peer" programs. The current technology is "Torrent" files and many programs are around to download "Torrent" files too. It's a lttle bit complicated and not difficult to learn. Computer geeks as well as some lower than knowledgeable soccer moms and grandma's are jumping for the Torrent wagon.. (Climb aboard, we've got PLENTY of room). VERY LITTLE. Downloading files illegally has become so easy and so, VERY popular. The problem with the illegal downloading of music, movies, software and games is GIGANTIC and too large to generate any sort of real dent. When a fresh CD from a designer is no longer shipped multi platinum with out longer sells like mad, I'll stop downloading music. When new movies stop breaking box office records on opening weekend, I'll stop downloading movies, in the event the stock shares of software and game companies start plummeting, I'll stop downloading games and apps. Until then, I will continue to upgrade my PC tower with larger and multiple computer drives to accommodate the files I download.
